| Well, my bragging about low effort/high rewards are finally catching up to me. I got a 8.6/10 on my last exam. Those cheating Indian fuckers all got 10/10. So, it looks like I need to be diligent if I am going to come out this semester with grades I can feel good about. There were a few 1.8's and 3.2's in the mix. I have an idea to whose test results those might be (the couple of guys who sit in the front and ask a TON of questions). Funny how the Gaussian distribution works on classes like this. My only choice now is to work hard and ... work hard. I was going to say: "beat those fuckers at their own game", but I'm not cheating or copying homework or anything like that, so I'm not really playing their game so to speak. Anyway, the graduate level ECE program at NJIT is a joke. I cannot say with a straight face that these kids are earning their degrees. Maybe I am just a bit overly critical of these guys. But damn, all of them are grown-ass men and women and this is graduate school. Wtf, mate?

| In your group of friends, is there that one guy/girl that always gets on everyone else's nerves? Well, I usually give this person the benefit of the doubt and make no conscious effort to avoid hanging out with them. Where others might leave a friend's house 5 minutes early so they wouldn't have to drive this guy home, I stay to the bitter end and give him a ride. This is the guy that has such a bad reputation in our group that instead of using adjectives to describe his retarded behavior, we simply use his name instead. He is kind of like an inside joke between the few of us - a 10-12 year running punchline.
Usually I'll just write him off and say "he's not such a bad guy" and not see him for a while. But these past two days in a row he managed to demonstrate to me why he gets on everyone's nerves.
Two days ago, we're at a friend's house - just the 3 of us. We're trying to figure out what to eat. Two of us kinda throw out the idea of ordering chinese. The other wanted pizza, moreso than we wanted chinese. Fair enough. So we're ordering pizza from Dominoes and we get the 5/5/5 deal. I'm on the phone, so after I hang up, I say out loud: "the total is $16.98 and it'll be 45 minutes." He pulls out a 5 and hands it to me. I hand that 5 and my 10 to my friend, saying "Well since ___ only has $5, I'll chip in a little extra. Give me $1 back." Then all of sudden, ___ pulls out another $1. Me and the other friend have this "WTF?" look on our face and asked why he didn't chip in more sooner?
His response was "I thought it was only 5 bucks." So we're explaining to him that the total is $17 already, it's gonna be at least $6 each. With tip for the driver, it's closer to $7 each ($21 is divisible by 3). And then he goes into this whole thing that pizza delivery guys have such an easy job and shouldn't be tipped more than $1. "They get paid minimum wage and the company pays for their gas." The two of us are left scratching our heads. Let's just leave it at that.
The next day, we're at another friend's house. We were all minding our own business when he justs blurts out, "these Lucky Charms aren't so lucky anymore!" So, the rest of us turn to him and ask him, "did you really just sit there and eat all the marshmallows out of the Lucky Charms?" ___ had this stupid-ass grin on his face like a little kid. There was still like 2 bowls of cereal left in that box, and he hand-picked and ate all the marshmallows. Let's just leave it at that.

| My Vonage days are coming to a close. I plan on calling out from work tomorrow because I have class. The retarded ass schedule (tue-sat, 5:00pm-1:30am), long commute, and shitty job really started to get to me. School and miscellaneous stuff I have to take care of for my family pushed me over the edge. So, Friday is my last day. Good riddance. And good luck to anyone with Vonage phone service... pray you never have to call customer care for ANYTHING.
